Schedule Abstracts
The geometry group at Indiana University will again host an April workshop with pending help of the National Science Foundation and the Department of Mathematics. The aim of the gathering is to foster interaction among mathematicians having diverse geometric interests.
Speakers:
The workshop will begin on Friday, April 13, at 4:00 pm with a colloquium lecture:

The workshop continues on Saturday and Sunday with lectures by the following confirmed speakers:

NSF support:
With pending support of the NSF, we will be able to reimburse the travel and local expenses of many junior participants.

Restaurants and Coffee:
There are many restaurants near the University, with a wide variety of cuisines including: Afghan, Burmese, Eritrean, Indian, Moroccan, Thai, and Tibetan. Most have fare amenable to vegetarian diets, and one can find a decent cup of coffee in town.
Entertainment:
The internationally recognized Indiana University School of Music presents Giacomo Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly on both Friday and Saturday nights (4/13, 4/14).

The mathematics department is housed in Rawles Hall, the building just west of the intersection of 3rd Street and Woodlawn Avenue on the north side of 3rd Street.
