2nd Annual Bloomington Geometry Workshop

April 12-14, 2002
The geometry group at Indiana University will again host an April workshop with the help of the Department of Mathematics and the National Science Foundation.
The aim of the gathering is to foster interaction among mathematicians having diverse geometric interests.

NSF support:
We have NSF support to apply towards participants' travel and local expenses during the conference. We should be able to cover most expenses for registrants from the Midwest region.

Restaurants and Coffee:
There are many restaurants near the University, with a wide variety of cuisines including: Afghan, Burmese, Eritrean, Indian, Moroccan, Thai, and Tibetan. Most have fare amenable to vegetarian diets, and one can find a decent cup of coffee in town.
Entertainment:
The internationally recognized Indiana University School of Music presents Gaetano Donizetti's opera Lucia di Lammermoor on both Friday and Saturday nights (4/13-14). Alternatively, one could take in the 1999 Tony Award-winning musical Parade by Ulny & Brown, a production of the renowned IU Theatre & Drama department.
