Full StoryProf. Dylan Thurston, in the Department of Mathematics traveled to China where he accepted an inaugural 2023 Frontiers of Science Award. This award is given for best-in-world recent research contributions in different categories. Dylan received the prize for his 2018 paper “Bordered Floer Homology,” with Peter Ozsváth and Robert Lipshitz.
