Visiting Lecturer positions / Fall 2023

The Department of Mathematics at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for full-time Visiting Lecturer positions beginning Fall 2023. The appointments begin August 1, 2023, and are for two years. These are 10-month positions. There are also opportunities to apply for paid summer teaching and curriculum development work.

 

Primary responsibilities will include instruction and support for instruction. Most of the instruction will be in a diverse set of introductory courses including precalculus, finite mathematics, and calculus. Support for instruction may include: course coordination, curriculum development, and supporting the professional growth of graduate and undergraduate student academic appointees. The nominal teaching load is six courses per academic year. Lecturers receive course releases for coordination and other administrative service.
