She worked in classical group theory and Clifford algebras. She has been recognized as a key inspiration behind the theory of Kac-Moody algebras through the thesis of her first doctoral student, Robert Moody. There will be a presentation of a new biography of her life and mathematics, written by María José Souto and Ana Tarrío, on February 22 at the national museum of science and technology (MUNCYT) in the city of A Coruña, Spain.
