Before your phone service will work you MUST READ and ACCEPT the Emergency 911 Acknowledgement Statement: https://accountmgmt.exchange.iu.edu/E911
Individual faculty and staff members are responsible for keeping their directory listings up-to-date. I've been asked to have individuals go to the “UPDATE MY LISTING” tab at the link below and from there, you can update your phone number or email address and report name and office address changes.
Is your IU Faculty/Staff Directory individual listing correct?
Only you can update your individual listing, so take a minute to check its accuracy, and then follow the “Update My Listing” link at: http://phonebook.iu.edu/mylisting.cfm
To change phone numbers listed in this directory, log into Onestart. From the “Services” tab, select “Employee Center” on the left. Select “Employee Information” and edit your IU Office Phone number.
IU Office Address Change
To change the IU Office Address listed in this directory, contact the HR representative in your unit. Address corrections can only be updated by the HR representative via the Maintain Person eDoc.
Updating personal information through Onestart will take at least 24-48 hours to propagate to the Online Directory.
Be sure to verify your listing today.
Start using UniCom/sign up
Before you can use the web interface or download the software from IUware, you must read and agree to the IU Emergency 911 Acknowledgment Statement. It simply explains that computer-based phone applications have inherent limitations when sending automatic location information to utilities such as emergency 911 services, which may depend on landline information to respond.
After you sign the Emergency 911 statement, your UniCom Basic account is automatically created and you’re ready to download Lync for Windows or Mac from IUware. Note also that all UniCom users—including Linux users—can use Outlook Web App from a web browser without installing anything. At any time, you can upgrade to UniCom with Enterprise Voice.
If you have an account at IU and have already installed the software, setup and sign-in on your computer is automatic.
